Fall Alpha Freebie

Fall seems to be approaching must sooner than I want, but in light of that, it means the fall layouts will be fast approaching. Inspired by a beautiful paper in Forever Autumn - The Collection, I have created an alpha that would match well with the kit. Mrs. JayBob Designs graciously allowed me to create an alpha from her beautiful leaf paper and offer it as a freebie. Go pick up the kit by her and Tootlebugz and utilize this alpha. If you create a page using this alpha and their kit, please let me know and I'd love to post the page here on my blog!
Please leave some love if you download this alpha, I'd love to hear from you. You may pick up this alpha HERE. Happy Scrapping!

Project Gallery - Week 1 Page

I finished my first page for Project Gallery over at Designs in Digital last night. I was pressed for time due to the kids' activities this week, but thought it turned out well. Thanks to a friend at work who happened to have the most adorable picture of her son, so thought it would be a great picture for my page.

The challenge:
We were provided 12 papers, 2 felts, 3 metals (paper clip, staple and washer). We were to use: 8 papers, 2 felts and 3 metals. There were no other elements provided and we could create elements as long as it utilized the materials. No re-coloring? Ugh. That was hard, but doable. And no using elements from other kits.

Here is my page.

The next step will be the voting. The voting begins on Sunday, September 13th and ends on Tuesday, September 15th. If you love my page, I ask you to please go and vote over at Designs in Digital.
I will post further instructions this weekend. This was a great challenge and made one think about the design of the page and how to use all the bright, bold colors provided in the papers.
Have a great Friday everyone!

Kits on Sale!

I do CTing for Designs in Digital and have created many wonderful pages using their kits from the site. Recently, the site went down due to a hacker and we lost all of the great pages we'd uploaded. The site had to be re-started from scratch, so the kits are slowly getting re-loaded, however, some exciting news is that there is a great 30% off sale going on over in the store today through Labor Day. Click my blog title and you will be put right into the thick of the 30% off items. Go check it out, as well the great challenges that are getting started back up. I am always looking for new inspiration for my pages, so check out the gallery too and I'm sure you'll be inspired! Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend everyone.

It's Been Way too Long! (Quick Page Freebie)

Ok, I just realized that summer has flown by and as a result my blog has suffered. Let's see, baseball games, softball games, and then school shopping and then I took senior pictures for my son and then of one of his classmates. Now football season is here. Ugh!

Anyway, I am back into doing scrapping again after taking a small break. I am refreshed (not sure about rejuvenated). LOL. I have done some pages over the last month, but am offering a free Quick Page that is fall related for those upcoming fall pictures. It is pretty basic, so I am hoping you will add lots of personal touches to the page. Here is a preview.

You can get this Quick Page HERE. If you create a page with this and want to share it, please by all means let me know. I'd love to see it!

It was created using a kit by Danielle Christiansen called Natures Simplicity. If you'd like to get the entire kit, visit here site here.
Also, if you are looking for something different to do, then you need to check out the new and upcoming happenings over at Designs in Digital. You've seen Project Runway, now come and join us for Project Gallery on September 9th. Just sign up at DID, register for the newletter and express your interest in the forum and you will be on your way!
